Height-adjustable saddle rack
The challenge in the stable
Dressage, jumping and Western saddles differ noticeably in shape, length and build. A rigid standard rack can barely accommodate those differences and often supports the saddle only at single points.
Nina's solution
The Cavacella saddle rack adjusts in height. Its support follows the line of the gullet, so the saddle sits securely and the panels are protected.
Why we build it this way
The height adjustment lets you position the rack in the locker to fit. The shaped support carries the saddle along as much of its length as possible, spreads the weight more evenly and avoids needless pressure points. The saddle is stored gently and stays easy to reach.

Bridle hook
The challenge in the stable
Several bridles often hang on top of each other on narrow hooks. Straps kink, bits knock against the wall and reins catch in the door as it closes.
Nina's solution
The broad, shaped solid-wood bridle hooks follow the curve of the headpiece. The leather rests gently while bit and reins hang free and in order.
Why we build them this way
The rounded support spreads the pressure over a larger area and avoids sharp kinks in the leather. That preserves the natural shape of the headpiece and stores the bridle gently. The bit hangs free of the back wall, and every bridle stays within reach on its own. Together with the locker's ventilation, any remaining moisture can escape more easily.

Helmet rack
The challenge in the stable
Left loose on top of the locker, a riding helmet can fall. In a closed compartment, on the other hand, moisture can barely escape. Especially after a hard ride.
Nina's solution
The open helmet rack gives the riding helmet a fixed, protected place. Its shape holds it securely while the open build lets air circulate.
Why we build it this way
The helmet rests on a shaped support and stays open on several sides. Air reaches the lining more easily, and the damp padding dries faster after riding. The helmet is never stacked, wedged in or left unprotected on top of the locker.

Drawer with spirit level (full extension)
The challenge in the stable
Many lockers offer nothing but open, deep compartments. Whatever slides to the back is hard to reach and soon disappears under saddle pads, grooming kit and accessories.
Nina's solution
Deep full-extension drawers on sturdy runners open up the entire storage space, right into the furthest corner. Everything stays visible and within reach in one movement.
Why we build it this way
Unlike a deep compartment, the drawer pulls out fully. You can see and reach everything in it without kneeling down or lifting other things out of the way. During installation the lockers are aligned precisely, so the drawers run smoothly and quietly even on uneven stable floors. The full depth of the locker becomes genuinely usable.

Saddle pad rack
The challenge in the stable
Damp saddle pads often end up over the box door or folded away in the locker. There they dry slowly, pick up odours and can lose their shape.
Nina's solution
On its own rack, the saddle pad hangs flat and clear of the rest of your gear. Air can circulate freely from both sides.
Why we build it this way
After riding, a saddle pad needs room to air. Open storage helps it dry and stops damp textiles being piled on top of each other. Every pad stays visible and quick to grab.

Pull-out bench
The challenge in the stable
Changing into riding boots, tying laces, putting something down for a moment: without somewhere to sit, even simple jobs become awkward. Yet many tack rooms have no space for a fixed bench.
Nina's solution
The bench pulls out of the locker when you need it and slides back in afterwards to save space. It's there exactly when you need it, then disappears into the furniture again.
Why we build it this way
A free-standing bench takes up valuable floor space permanently and can block the way. The pull-out bench uses the depth the locker already has, adding comfort without claiming extra room.

Personal storage compartment
The challenge in the stable
Hand cream, sunscreen, hair ties and other personal items often have no fixed place in the stable. They end up in jacket pockets, in among the gear, or stay in the car.
Nina's solution
A separate compartment behind its own door gives skincare and toiletries a protected home, along with the personal bits and pieces. Two shelves keep everything visible and quick to reach.
Why we build it this way
Unlike a deep box, everything stays in view. Splitting it across two levels prevents needless stacking and keeps personal items cleanly apart from tack, grooming kit and the rest of your gear.

Height-adjustable shelf
The challenge in the stable
Brushing boots, bell boots, girths and other accessories often have no fixed place. In deep compartments the pieces pile up and have to be reshuffled every time you look for something.
Nina's solution
The open shelf offers three clear levels. The shelves adjust in height to suit gear of different sizes.
Why we build it this way
The open design keeps everything visible and directly to hand. The adjustable shelves make proper use of the available space and create room exactly where it is needed. At the same time, air circulates better than in a fully closed compartment: a real advantage for gear that still holds moisture after use.

Common questions about the tack locker
Will the tack locker fit my tack room?
As a guide, a complete Cavacella locker measures 1.20 m wide, 1.90 m high and 0.78 m deep. Because the system is modular, it adapts to your space: as a single locker, in a row, or as a solution for niches and awkward layouts.

What does a Cavacella tack locker cost?
Entry starts at €979 incl. VAT. The final price depends on line, finish and the modules you choose.

Which lines and finishes are available?
Four lines are available: Basic in white, Premium with a choice of three finishes (Anthracite, Congo, Oak decor), and Premium Plus in solid spruce or solid oak. Add modules such as saddle racks, bridle hooks, a drawer with spirit level or a bench, all directly selectable in the configurator.
How does ordering work?
You put your locker together in the configurator and request your personal quote. We get back to you personally, answer open questions and settle the details. Once you give the go-ahead, we build your locker in our own joinery workshop in Düsseldorf.
How long until delivery?
Production usually takes 6 to 8 weeks, as every locker is built individually after you order. We agree the delivery date with you early so you can plan. On request we also handle installation on site.
