Three worlds that rarely meet in one person.
I'm Nina. I've been riding for as long as I can remember. I learned the craft in my family's workshop.
For many years I was probably like most riders: fine saddles, good bridles, carefully chosen equipment, and in the end it all landed in a cold metal locker. Damp leather, scratched helmets, no order. It never felt right.
As a master joiner I knew it could be done better. As a rider I knew what matters. I didn't want to build yet another locker, but a piece of furniture for the tack room. One that matches the value of the equipment and the stable where it has its place.
The designer's eye turned it into more than a piece of furniture. What emerged is a modular system that grows with your requirements, ready to be extended and adapted to you.
Rider. Master joiner. Designer. Three perspectives on the same task. Cavacella grew out of that combination.

From the family workshop to a line of its own
In 2018 Nina began developing something of her own. Not overnight, but locker by locker. Design, test in the stable, improve.
What began small has matured over the years into a system with real thought behind it. Cavacella wasn't created at the drawing board but in the stable, alongside the demands of daily riding.
So Cavacella pairs the craft experience of a master workshop with solutions that took shape where they are needed every day: in the stable.

The joinery workshop behind Cavacella
Cavacella is a young brand. The workshop behind it draws on more than three decades of craftsmanship. Since 1989, Tischlerei Nagel in Düsseldorf has been making high-quality furniture and bespoke solutions, today in its second generation.
The Cavacella locker systems are made here too. In our own joinery workshop, with modern machinery and the ambition to pair traditional craftsmanship with precise production. From the first cut through CNC machining to final assembly, every essential step happens under one roof.
What my father Andreas Nagel built, I carry on today with the same passion for quality, precision and craftsmanship that lasts.

Furniture with high standards has been made at Tischlerei Nagel since 1989. Today every member of the family brings in their own experience. Together they form the foundation of Cavacella.

Founder and master joiner since 1989
Founder of Tischlerei Nagel and the craft foundation of the company. With decades of experience he oversees demanding production work and stands to this day for the quality that shapes the workshop.

Office, administration and finances
In the background she holds the organisation together and makes sure ideas, projects and orders turn into a smooth working day.
Chris
Sales & business development
After founding two companies of his own, Chris brings his experience in sales, brand building and business development to the family firm. He joins traditional craftsmanship with new ideas and supports the growth of the Cavacella brand.
Nico
Backbone for all legal matters
By day Nico works as a lawyer in Berlin, but he always makes time to contribute order and legal certainty to the family firm.

Nina joins craftsmanship, design and riding. From her experience as a rider and master joiner came the idea for Cavacella: a brand for individual solutions developed straight from everyday stable life.
The secret project managers
Jack and Jim, two collie brothers, belong to the Nagel family like the workshop itself.
In the office they keep an eye on everything, greet visitors and reliably make sure the end of the working day is never forgotten.
